Welcome to the Honesty Blog
January 19th, 2007
Welcome to the Honesty Blog! I am excited to start this blog because it deals with a topic I am very passionate about, Honesty!
A little background about me might help you understand the connection. I am the president & founder of ImHONEST.com, a non-traditional lost and found service whose success relies on people’s honesty. As you might imagine, people often ask me “Do you really think people are that honest?” My reply is, yes! Although, I can understand why people have their doubts when unfortunately our daily news is dominated by tragic stories, corporate scandals and dishonesty.
With this blog, I hope to bring trust and hope back to people by making public the thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, of stories about Honesty and Good Deeds.
This blog will also serve as a forum for anyone who has a story of their own they would like to share. Simply post your story by clicking the “Share your story here!” link. I will then upload these stories as blog postings.
Thank you for being a part of this blog and for sharing your positive stories about honesty and good deeds.

I’m so glad to have found this websight because of my heavy heart over losing a special “toy”. My DVD/MP3 player and carrier was lost just a week or so ago and all I could think about was wishing there was a place on the internet to track lost and found items from honest people that may want to report what they have found. So glad you’ve started this service and pray that you will find continued success.

Thank you for this blog! I recently created a Squidoo lens about this very topic. You might be interested in checking it out. We’ve begun a discussion about Shakespeare’s quote: “This above all, to thine own self be true,” and how it fits into the “honesty is the best policy” quote.
I believe honesty takes courage, but it is character-building!
