Today, I’m posting the first of a series of testimonials sent by ImHONEST customers whose valuables have been returned to them thanks to honest people and the ImHONEST.com service. I hope you enjoy this great testimonial and are encouraged by another example of honesty in action.
On 10/29 I accidentally left my Blackberry Pearl in the men’s room of the Renaissance hotel in Charlotte, NC. There was no sign of it when I returned, and no one had handed it in to the front desk. When I arrived home, 3 hours later, I had an email from imhonest.com, that someone had found it and called them. In 7 days I had my Blackberry back, through UPS. Two things should be noted from this situation. Firstly, I subscribed to the imhonest.com service and attached the label to my phone because I truly believe that most people are honest, and would turn it in if I misplaced it. Secondly, the cost of this service is so low it is worth the risk of testing someone’s honesty. Fortunately for me, both cases proved to be true.

Late last year, we decided to share select ImHONEST customer testimonials. This is a great story we can share with you thanks to the honesty of a student. This happened a few weeks ago when we had a late and very surprising snowfall in Georgia.
I needed to take my Golden Retriever to the Vet Hospital in Athens, Georgia for a treatment. Since there had been a record snowfall of 12 inches, I thought to bring my camera with me to take a few pictures. My memory card was almost full and the snow pictures would be the last of 200 pictures before I downloaded the entire card.
At the Vet School, my dog was extremely anxious to go home and he really acted wild and excited as I got him back into the car. In the excitement, I must have dropped the camera into a small snow bank. I never thought about taking the pictures and I even forgot that I had my camera with me. The next day we had a call from an ImHONEST.com representative with the great news that the camera had been found and the finder used the information on the tag to contact ImHONEST and return the camera.
Through the simple ImHONEST return instructions, the finder was able to get the camera back to me. My 200 pictures and memory card were saved and my camera is back home. We are grateful to the finder and to the ImHONEST program.

We recently had the opportunity to help reunite a lost pager with its owner, thanks to the honesty of the person that reported having found it. It is encouraging and inspiring how many people go out of their way every day to do a good deed.
We just had an experience with our daughter losing a special pager. This is one of the more elaborate models that is associated with a contract for service and would have been quite expensive to replace. There was a short security cord that attached to a belt loop for extra security. When the attached cord failed and the pager was lost the ImHONEST.com sticker that was placed on the pager served as the backup plan.
Very shortly after the pager was found the finder contacted the 800 number on the sticker and we were contacted within minutes. ImHONEST Customer Service was excellent!!!
This is a great service! Our thanks go to the honest finder of the unit and the ImHONEST staff.

The following testimonial was sent in by one of our customers that after a momentary scare was able to quickly get back his camera thanks to the honesty of a stranger and the ImHONEST.com service. Memories captured in photos or videos are one of those things that can never be replaced.
As an avid photographer, I carry at least one camera with me at all times. There is a high chance, therefore, that I lose a camera and don’t even know it. This indeed happened, but thanks to the tag, I received a surprise email from “I’m Honest” the same night saying that I had lost a camera and somebody had found it. Without a doubt, this is the most remarkable ImHONEST.com story so far. Monday the finder filled out the found item report on our website and the next day the owner had his iPod Touch back. It wasn’t until we received this testimonial that we learned about the very interesting back-story.
Hi! I just went to go get it today. It still works! I dropped it outside during the last big snowstorm [in Pennsylvania] and they found it outside a week later. No water damage at all. I was talking to the store manager and he said that one of the employees found it and gave it to him, and couldn’t find any contacts in it. He then saw the sticker on the back and reported it.
Your service is amazing! I had totally forgotten that the sticker was on there and thought my ipod was gone for good. Thanks so much for what you do because it definitely made me happy to have it again because ipods aren’t cheap.
Many thanks to the honest employees and the store manager that took the time to report and return the iPod back to its rightful owner. It is stories like these that make what we do so meaningful and rewarding.
